Vashnie Prasad is an Indo-Caribbean photographer based in Queens, New York. Through her lens, average moments and people become vibrant stories. She is strongly inspired by where she grew up and those surrounding her. Through her work, everyday people become protagonists. She believes each person has a story to tell and aims to highlight that. She likes to shape light and color , and attempt out of the ordinary methods. Her photos are a vivid representation of the world through her eyes.
